About Tracey Arias, PMHNP
Tracey Arias, PMHNP, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who brings a decade of hands-on healthcare experience and a deep commitment to compassionate, culturally responsive care. She specializes in psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults (ages 7+), offering services in both English and Spanish.
Tracey currently sees patients in person in Danbury, Connecticut, as well as via telehealth across the state—making care accessible and flexible for a wide range of needs.
Her journey into mental health began with a CNA certification in high school, igniting a lifelong passion for patient care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Connecticut State University in 2019 and spent over six years as a registered nurse in high-acuity settings—including medical/surgical units, emergency departments, and substance abuse treatment programs. These diverse clinical environments gave her a firsthand understanding of the complex interplay between physical and mental health, and inspired her to pursue advanced practice in psychiatry.
Her approach is grounded in empathy, clinical rigor, and a belief that every patient deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported. Tracey is particularly attuned to the needs of underserved and bilingual communities, and she strives to make mental health care accessible, stigma-free, and tailored to each individual’s goals.
Whether she’s helping a teen navigate anxiety, supporting an adult through depression, or collaborating with families on treatment plans, Tracey brings clarity, warmth, and professionalism to every encounter.
