About Annie Saye-Sahn, PMHNP
Annie Saye-Sahn brings a rich, global perspective and over three decades of healthcare experience to her role as a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Born and raised in Liberia, West Africa, Annie’s early journey in healthcare began with a student exchange program in the United States, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cuttington University upon returning home.
Her career as a registered nurse was deeply impacted by the civil war in Liberia, leading to a period of displacement and eventual resettlement in the United States in 1992. Throughout her career, Annie served in a wide range of healthcare roles including CNA, LPN, and RN where she gained invaluable insight into the challenges faced by individuals navigating both physical and mental health concerns.
Motivated by a desire to provide holistic and compassionate mental health care, Annie pursued graduate training through Walden University, where she earned her PMHNP credentials in 2024. Today, she serves as a trusted provider at Mar Sol Mental Health Experts (MHE) in Danbury, Connecticut, offering psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive care for clients facing conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and ADHD.
Annie's approach is client-centered, culturally sensitive, and grounded in empathy. She is deeply committed to empowering individuals through personalized treatment plans that honor each client’s journey, challenges, and goals. Her lived experiences, clinical expertise, and unwavering compassion allow her to meet clients where they are and help guide them to where they want to be.
